she still hates me. but she had a exciting weekend!

ok so friday i gave miss abbey a bath and painted her toes with help from dad feeding her treats.

then we went to casino and had dinner we checked her every 30 min and daddy smuggled out some treats from the buffet.... then after that we drove up tp grama and grampas. she was happy got more treats there and dug up her ham bone from last time. the next morning was when the real excitment began!!

we were all standing outside in the yard and all the sudden abbey popped up and hualled but into the wooded area behind the house barking and baying up into a tree! she chased ol rocky racoon right up that tree. we put her in the house for a few then left to go pick up our humin children and when we met grandma and grandpa at the beach to get oysters there she was with them sniffing away and looking aweful pissed that grandpa had her on a leash (30 feet of rope steaked out) but she still had fun licking the empty oyster shels after daddy shucked them.

Sounds like a Big weekend! BTW, my husband would never "help" me paint her nails... All I would get is a bunch of eye-rolls!

Each to their own I guess, but if I saw that colour on any of my hounds' nails, I'd think they were bleeding ......

Oh Abbey you are sooooo pretty. I love those nails. I used to go get mine done but the spa closed & someone says I'm too wiggly for a home pawdicure. Hmmmmpf.

Mine would revolt, ranch dogs don't get there toe nails done, no way no how.

But she sure did have a good day, nothin better than treeing a coon, just nothin better at all.

Oooh that does sound like a lot of excitement! I didn't even know you could paint dogs nails

but like someone already said to each their own! My boyfriend refuses to even put a sweater on Harvey when he's cold
