Thanks for all the very interesting responses!
Cooper is only young at 4 months, his coat isn't long but it's very silky and has a sheen to it, he's also a crazy shedder! I'm just curious to see if this will last, he's the best heated blanket ever :PSent from Petguide.com Free App |

emmas coat isnt soft to me and definitely not puppy soft but id say her coat is very smooth. which to most folks who have dogs with coarser hair feels soft. i know i usually think the same thing when im petting a greyhound at the dog park because of their fine smooth coat.

Moses and Clementine have very different coats. Moses has short, smooth "slick" hair while Clemmie's fur is thick and coarse. Both have velvet soft ears, of course! I always think I'd love a blanket that felt like Basset ears
