Puppy Envy

Hello everyone! I am really enjoying this forum. This is my first post so I hope that it works!
I have been looking at everyone's pictures in the photo gallery. More proof that there isn't much cuter than a Basset puppy! I have never been someone who saw a new mom with a baby & said "Yeah, I'd love to have another!" But when I see all of these scrunchy faced puppies with their ears dragging the floor..OH, THE PUPPY ENVY!! It makes me want another one so much!!!

lol I'm going to be naughty & make this a puppy envy picture post!!! Sometimes when I look at our puppy I get puppy envy?!! He's so cute sometimes I just want 3 more but then we'd need a bigger house... I can't work out how to convince my OH owning Bassets is our life's calling!

Yep, I can relate to this. In my case, I've never looked at someone's human baby and thought that I wanted even *one* of those. LOL I sure do get occasional episodes of puppy envy though, and think just maybe we need a 3rd hound around here. Perhaps one day.

@ Scully, I know what you mean. Personally, I am not a "baby" person, but show me a puppy and I MELT! Like I said earlier... I am striving for the "cheaper by the dozen" theory, just have to find a way to manipulate my husband to "see it my way" !
