Thank you so much for rescuing Rosie way to many dogs get looked ever because of age. We have our Maddie who is 13 and in April we will have had her for 2 years.
She is just a love, well don't ask the schwan man, she will bit if you come into her yard. She is basset/redbone mix. I just love, love, love old dogs. Can't wait to see pictures. |

I love this story. Thank you and kisses to Rosie. I rescued my Riley and I love him so very much. I needed him as much as he needed me.

Well, that was a warm and drooly welcome and thanks to you all for your encouragement. Many would say it is not wise to take on an older dog, but La Rose and I know better! Your stories are priceless and I have learned new things in reading here, even though I have had hounds since the mid eighties
(oldster alert).Tonight I went grocery shopping and found some marrow bones. It has been over a week since her dental extractions, and she acted like the bones were popsicles. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to have this sweet soul in my home. |
