Hi!. I've just move into a fully carpet apartment and I'm going crazy with penny, she is peeing all over around, I have bought, training pads, spray, potty training y nothing seems to help. I'm a housewife and I'm with her all day long trying to help her. I take her for a walk mornings and evenings but she never pees outside no matter how much time we spend outside, It's like she waits until gets home to pee every where but not in a pad!. It's been a ten long days, I love her so much !!

Start potty training from the beginning - going out with her and big treats for pees and poos.. Different homes, floors, gardens etc... can send these into a tail spin. My Margot came to me at 8 months - housebroken- not in our house! We treated her like a little puppy and she did get it eventually.

Since your with her all day you need to start from scratch. After she eats, drinks, plays, take her out every 15 minutes to start with. When she potties outside make a big deal about it and treats. If she has an accident in the house don't make a big deal about it. You could take her for a checkup to make sure she is ok and if she was doing fine at the last place try to think if anything is different such as colder, more rain or snow. Also she may prefer to go on a certain type substrate. We put a small piece of carpet on the patio and planted a small patch of grass in the yard for ours.

Yep you can be out walking for hours but it is not potty training! It really is back to basics - this is the home - you don't pee/poop in - and this is where you go. Establish a spot or an area and go weewee. Treat and or make a fuss and back inside. No matter what the age you have to go back to basics.
