I just noticed that Luna has bumps on her skin on both sides, going from her shoulders to her hips. I can't get a good look at them because of her fur. I only saw them because her fur was looking a little ratty (which isn't normal for a short-hair dog). There has been no diet changes, no symptoms of illness, no changes in shampoo...I know for sure they weren't there this morning. She hasn't been into anything more than Ginny has, and Ginny's skin looks perfectly normal. Any ideas?
I saw a pic online of a dog's hide that looks the same, and that person said it was a staph infection. Is that possible? |

I have no idea, but I would call my vet. A co-worker has a dog (not a basset) that gets that and she is food sensitive, allergic to grass, fleas....
