I hear ya there, I worry about Maddie being hurt all the time. She's going on 13 I believe, will never know for sure. She doesn't seem to have arthritis but the vet thinks she has a pinched nerve in her back.
Her hind legs don't move right. It's sort of hard to explain but they have a mind of there own so to speak. But it sure doesn't slow her down any she will take off galloping her front end going straight and her back end going from one side to the other. And her back legs will slide out from her sides, like on slick floors. I don't think she can feel them very well that's what the vet says. I am going to order zeel traumeel and see if it helps. I was told by someone to try this. |

I have this problem, hounds can be so stoic it's awesome. Lucas had a massive slipped disc last year, he got through it with a total of two Rimadyl, given in 4 halves - any more & he became too active!! Going back to Lula has your vet suggested cartrophen, it realy helped Otto.
