On the mend!
My Dewi has been through the works recently, it all began with 'cherry eye' then a nasty bout of gastrointiritus and then due to his bowed leg, after X-rays it showed his joints all out of alignment after a growth plate fused together resulting in an operation. He's been in plaster for 4 weeks now over Xmas and is as fab now as ever, he is so relaxed and had just got on with it! Bless! Unfortunately the other eye has popped up a cherry eye, but I've got drops to keep that at bay for the time being! Hopefully, fingers crossed, he's having his plaster off on Friday- he's having an X-ray to make sure the leg is ok first!
If anyone out there has similar problems, please contact me as I was so worried at first and talking to people who'd been through the same problems help! Plus, I got a cage to make sure he was safe, best thing I ever done and am keeping it! No toilet issues and he's happy as! ;-) |

Glad he is doing better. My first basset had cherry eye but other than that that's all of the same problems I have had as you have.
I have other ones  . But it is nice to have help when you are going through something similar.

Glad Dewi is on the mend! Sorry, haven't had those issues with any of mine, so I can't offer any first hand support, but if you want to talk....
