I posted a thread asking about areas rugs a while back and it have not turned out as well as I have hoped. Porter think the rug belongs to him and like to scrunch it up and sleep in the pile. Not to mention the whole thing is covered in dog hair.

Has anyone tried an indoor/outdoor rug? I figure its made out of plastic/recycled material, maybe the dog hair wont stick? Not sure. At least the dog can't scrunch it up!

Current rug: 1 win for the dog, zero for the human
Indoor/outdoor rug: 1 win for the human, zero for the dog? maybe?

I'm hoping that'll even out the score, even though I know the basset always wins and the human only win if we agree with the dog.

No help from me.... still haven't found the material, surface, etc that doesn't cling to basset hair... I've just decided it is part of my decorating & dress "Style"
