My pretty lil Buttercup needs a bodyguard or self defense classes for Christmas. She's having a rough vacation. She's been attacked twice in three days! Once by my cousin's border collie (while napping in her own kennel with door open) & then a bulldog while on a run with me today. She's such a sweet thing it just breaks my heart. I can still hear her oww owwwwww owwwwing in my head. ;(

Yep she's ok just a little swollen & bruised from the bulldog bite on her side & one tooth puncture from the border collie on her neck. I really think the loosey goosey skin saves 'em. Santa Paws left her lots of get well treats.

What's even stranger is the day before we left for my parents house a new neighbor dog came after her too & i had to yank her back inside & shut the door nearly on that meany too! That makes it three times in one week!

Then i found another puncture wound on her neck tonight. I swear that border collie was trying to kill her!

We won't go back to my cousin's house & I haven't seen the nasty neighbor dog since & even though the bulldog is 200 miles away, I'm not sure who's more scared to go running again her or me?!!

Then I'm kinda starting to wonder if something is wrong with her causing these nasty dogs to come after her! Can we literally be that unlucky to have three unrestrained dogs come after us?

I carry pepper spray when hubby is at the other house and I’m walking Mabel & Page. We have a couple pit bulls here that aren’t nice – and have had a lot of coyote attacks this year. If you have a Bass Pro near, you can get one that goes on a key chain. I’ve never had to use it – but wouldn’t hesitate if I did.

I hope all these attacks aren’t effecting her personality and giving her a fear of other dogs. Dumb dog owners – why can’t they control their dogs in the first place so they don’t have a chance to go after PB?

Exactly! Stupid irresponsible owners... & I don't believe for a minute, "She's never done that before?!!"

Thanks for your concern. I might try pepper spray although i might prefer a tazer before I buy side by side treadmills for us.
