ha! The first two pics are awesome because they're like a rite-of-passsage for basset parents. It is obligatory to take one with ears spread ALLLLL the way out... and then to sneak a toy under the arm when they're asleep for the HUG effect!

Yes definitely that was the most fun trying to pull out the ears and without waking him up!

I guess I'm even worse since Harvey is my first dog ever!
I just can't believe that the little thing that used to fit on that pillow with ears included now can barely fit to sit on it!! But of course he still thinks he is lap dog size when he gets sleepy

Hi! We have something in common - our first Basset (dog actually) was called Harvey. Nice to have a true French Basset onboard
