Exclamation Taking a chance... (found basset hound)

Hey y'all.... maybe some of you have some connections in Greenville, SC? I found this precious girl walking around the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant tonight and am desperate to find her people. I've posted on Facebook, Greenville County animal services and emailed but I figured it couldn't hurt to see if anyone here might be able to share with their basset people too.

I can't keep her for long...hoping to find her people quickly. For now though she is safe, warm, clean (she stunk like ten hounds in one!) not hungry and not thirsty.

My info is on the picture but for copy and paste here ya go...

**FOUND IN MAULDIN, SC**
**FEMALE BASSET HOUND**
Please help me get this girl home to her people!!!
Found in the Habenero's parking lot 12.2.12 approx 7:45pm. NO COLLAR, NO TAGS!!! Sweet as can be!! HELP!!!!!
My number is ###.###.#### - I can't keep her for long!! Please share!!!!!

I'll post it on FB too, because you never know. I hope she will be reunited with her owners soon!

Could she be microchipped? I would take her to see.

Hey SAN - I'm going to try to take her to the local vet in the morning. I've got her picture cross-posted everywhere I can think (including Carolina Basset Hound Rescue). She is so precious.

Here's a pic from this morning... I am happy to report she slept thru the night. Didn't make a peep and no messes!! Oh.. and she LOVES belly rubs!

Good for you, looks as if she's been looked after 'apart from the smell' but I think Basset folk tend to get use to it! All the best in finding her owners, best wishes.

What a wonderful thing you did picking her up and bringing her home. I hope you find her people soon. Sadly, I know no one in that area. Good Luck!
