I hate it! she has such beautiful long soft ears... I don't want her to eat them!

Emma does that too!! I thought its because she is teething? She nips Oscar all over the place...his ears and tail mostly. And when she has no "victim", she will be happy to chew her own ears! Ouch!!😉

Fred sucks on his ears when he's concentrating on something, like the laser dot.

Joey doesn't do that he's more of a tail chaser. He will go round in circles not stop for a good few minutes groaning and moaning until he catches it lol xx

Buster was sucking his ears yesterday, weird.

Our beagle, Austin, chewed his ears when he was upset well into adulthood. My understanding was that is was somewhat akin to a human child sucking their thumb.

Mabel does this a lot-it seems to soothe her in her pre-sleep mode and her sister doesn't doi it at all. I find it weird-I would have thought that both dogs might have inherited that trait.

Mabel is also much more of a singer than Emily.
