The sofa, the bed, the food,,,EVERYTHING is theirs!!!! Barney really is obsessed with the Fedex man.....is certain that all the boxes are for him....you've got a beautiful pup...love to see them so happy and content....

Face it, the day you brought home a basset, you own NOTHING. You are lucky if they "decide" to share with you. You are a second class citizen and slave in your own home. Embrace it and enjoy!

Maezie becomes dead weight when I try to move her to the end of the sofa so we can share. 50+ lbs of dead weight. At least she's a good sport and lets me move her, but then she slowly creeps up to the center of the couch again. Molly and Winston...they won't hear of moving.
