The only thing I have found my boys will not eat are the things I want them to - such as heart worm pills, or really any meds that they say are chewable for your dog. But accidentally drop a cotton ball? a bright squishy ear plug? My boys consider these delicacies. Have to separate the boys when cleaning ears because they especially like dirty used cotton balls.

un no the do not they contain a chemical that can break down into cyanide but this assume ! that apple seed are digestable AN REALLY THEY ARE NIOT and 2 ONE injestS a huge quanitity. eating appleseeds that are in an apple core is not a problem

Molly loves apples! When the kiddo gets a happy meal from McD's, he always gives her the apple slices (and sometimes a fry or two.)

Very interesting, what other foods are okay for Bassets to eat? Oh, and I am cutting up the half eaten apple my daughter put in the fridge yesterday just to see if Buster will eat it.

what about citrus fruits? i know my dog doesnt care for em and she also turned down a carrot that dropped on the floor over thanksgivin...

never tried a lemon but oranges and limes are a go carrots raw or cooked.

and yes she will eat pickled jalapenas have not give her hotter peppers though.
