Does anyone have a soft crate they like that isn't too pricey?
My person says it's time to get me one! we'd like it to be collapsible and portable. and if so, where did you get it from and what size for a basset? Thanks! Worm

We had a pop up crate for PB & she used it as a hamster ball & rolled all around the house leaving tell tale lines in carpet from the frame. She'd go from front door to back door, down hallway & all over the living room. Funny part is she usually had her food bowl in there & sometimes her water dish too! Silly dog. I have seen beefier fabric sided crates but buyer beware with the pop up style!

Just reveived this mail order catalog and saw some soft crates. Can look at them on website: drsfostersmith.com. they are $70 to $140 depending on size.

Never even tried one. Have only used the metal crate for a limited time (try to get them out pretty fast... mostly because the sad eyes kill me) Once they get the potty training and they are not eating the house, they are out of there. Although, I keep it around since the pup finds it a cozy place to rest.
