Hi to everyone! We are new to the forum and Emma and I wanna say hi to everyone. Emma is a 6 week old tri color basset and she is a doll. We are crate training her right now. She seems very responsive to go potty on the grass and we can go through around 6 hrs at night without accident. I am on my first errand out without her (I am gone around 2.5hrs picking kids up from school and sending them to piano class) so fingers crossed she will not have an accident.

Thank you! We had her for about 3 days now and she's an absolutely sweetheart. I would like to know how much food should I be giving her a day? I am not a fan of leaving the food all day and let her eat whenever. She just turned 6 weeks today and is still on semi dry kibbles.

She is adorable! I think 6 hours at night sounds great. I'm not sure how much food she needs; maybe check with the breeder or the vet or even the package of food. I agree with you that you do not want to leave it out all day.

Oh she's so cute & even her front paws look tiny! She sure sounds like a good baby... that's what they do. She's getting her bluff in early. "These humans seem to be such softies... already in love with me. I'll totally be gettin' me some of that turkey they're talking about. Mmm hmmmm me the boss. I run this family."
