Hey guys, i haven't been on in a while but i wanted to share this..the petition for maximum sentance and general outrage at this case
TAKE ACTION- We demand Andrew Delgado face jail over the killing of his family Basset Hound- Buddy | Justice for Mary | causes.com The hearing is tomorrow at 1pm, in my local county courthouse. I have been following this..and it has upset my whole family. I've been enraged and cried over it. Not only was it close to me physically, locally, but just the general idea of hurting ANY animal like this..and a basset? Rage. Anyway, please sign this and pass it on. I'll keep checking posts (got to this one and stopped here lol) so sorry if someone has already posted. Please sign!

Also...more information:
Letters to the DA are appreciated, thank you's to the detective who helped interrogate the murderer and get him to confess, are appreciated. There is more information on BHRSC...Basset Hound Rescue and their facebook page. Some info...the "family" waited a day to take buddy into the vet. They did not take him to emergency, despite urgings by EMTS. They avoided the cost, and waited to take him to a regular vet. It took him two days to die. They also, as soon as the fire was called in, jumped in their cars and went looking...apprently rumor, but based on this fact, it can be assumed because the noticed their son and dog missing and suspected. He had 4 priors. They own two other basset hounds, which the rescue has not been able to determine where they were from. None of the rescues they've contacted has record, so they could have been puppy purchases. They are working to write letters, and look into the safety of these remaining two dogs. Also, they are trying to to follow up with police to determine if Andrew, the murderer, is released, if the dogs can be removed from the location and re-homed to keep them out of danger. Any letters or anything anyone can do to help follow-upon this is appreciated.

It has been a very, very difficult story to follow. I've cried and been enraged. I'm on my phone right now so it's hard to post links...but please, if you have some time, the bhrsc (basset hound rescue southern california ) has an example letter and sending info to ask the humane society to step in for the remaining dogs. Andrew Delgado, the killer, had his hearing postponed and a bail amount set...a $3,000 bail bond and he is free to go back to his parents and the two remaining dogs. Please, let's write letters. Let's see if we can do something.

I know. Please, sign petition and write letters if you can.
Let me know if you want this letter in text format and you can just copy it and print! E-mail, etc. I really hope enough fuss is created to make a difference in the trial, and for the dogs remaining at the home. Thank you guys!
