Default Well, it's Official...

I am sitting in my armchair with a pillow on my knees, where Maddie is resting her head as she snores away on the hassock.

I would love a big mug of tea, but I don't want to wake my dog by getting up to make it.

I'm officially owned by my Basset, aren't I?

Yep.

Clearly, you need another one so you can teach it to make & bring you tea.

Not wanting to wake Olive up is the reason my husband is late all the time. She snuggles with him and he just doesn't want to disturb her! lol

Do it all the time. Funny thing is, I worry about waking him up and he gets twice as much sleep a day as I do.

I don't like to wake up Norman; and he does not like to be awakened by anyone or thing

LOL! That sounds pretty familiar! Larsen has decided to be my lapdog lately, which is a new thing for him. He plops himself in my lap every evening after his dinner and I'm pretty much stuck on the couch because: 1) I don't want to make him move when he's so cozy; 2) I just love the snuggles; and 3) I lose all feeling in my legs.
