emma will chase a ball run past it turn around throw it up in the air and repeat the chasin and runnin past it but she never really catches it too much momentum carryin her past the ball. quite funny to watch

but ive got a question for ya mikey these field trials sound like they would be fun but im not finding any basset trials in my area or surrounding states. bird dogs are the main huntin dogs around here everyone has a spaniel or retriever to take huntin. so my question is what do the beagle field trials folks think about a basset showin up to one of their field trials? i plan to look into contactin one of the beagle clubs here but you seem to know about some of the politics that go into these so im interested in your insight.

AHBA usually has two weekends of hunts a year. ie 4 hunts each day is a seperate hunt unlike AKC ,in western MO they are concluded for this year

hunt Schedule
B&C game farm.in Brookfield MO has been the site of the last two Check back in Jan- fEB for 2013 schedual

AKC registration is not required for a AHBA hunt.

thanks how did i not stumble on that site was googlin like crazy to find basset field trials the other day and kept comin up with beagle field trials in this neck of the woods. and i didnt expect to goto one this year but next spring im sure i could schedule it in.

Worm that is so cool, I'm so glad you had a good time. Congrats to Mikey and Soundtrack as well. Nothing like a dog doing what it was bred to do.
