Bailey went for his 8 week xray yesterday to see how he has got on. The vet called us today and the news is good. The bone has just about healed up, but more important is that his elbow is now where it should be. The vet said he is very pleased with the results, and so are we. Bailey has virtually no limp now, even when he first gets up.
I am glad we got him done now, as he seems so happy, running about and enjoying life. I would recomend it to people, as long as it is for the right reasons. We got 4 different opinions on him, good xrays and could see it wasnt Pano or anything else.

One of the best looking Bassets ever. You would never know he had ever had surgery. I'm so glad it worked out!

Big thanks to everyone's kind words and advise. When all this started, we were really worried and didn't know who to talk to, but coming on this site has been great.
