Found out this morning that she has a bladder stone and blood in her urine.
A urinalysis is being done and tomorrow we'll find out if we're going the antibiotic, special diet, or surgery route. Or a combination of them. So please keep Miss Virga in your thoughts please. She's in a little bit of pain but pain killers are helping that.

Healing drools and lots of love coming Virga's way! Hoping for no surgery. Feel better, Sweetie!

Well...heard back from the vet this morning. Virga has a lot of crystals in her urine and the pH is off. The vet said that's from the infection. Makes sense. So her daddy picked up her antibiotics and ordered her special food. It's looking like antibiotics and a change in diet are what we're going with. It's looking like surgery isn't going to be needed. We'll have to see after the antibiotics and food change start kicking in. But that's where we are right now. Thanks for the drool and thoughts everyone! I'll keep you guys up to date on her progress.

Poor sweetie. I dealt with chronic urinary issues with my cat back in the day. It's rough, but I am glad to hear no surgery for Virga at this point. Good luck
