I'll be surprised if we see op again. I just hope that means gut feelings were right and there isn't a dog in need

Perhaps I wasn't clear, as so far the only contact I've had from OP was a note that they don't have a message from me (?!). Not sure why they're waiting for an invitation - just send the info through the private message feature.

I've sent a reply asking for the info. At this point I'll be surprised if I actually get anything concrete.

Did you just get that as I see the op was just in private messaging. Maybe you got your reply.

From time to time, I get called away from my computer for an extended period of time

death, illness, things breaking, things going wrong-things like this happen in my life sometimes

Am I the only one that has these things happen?

(I will be away from my computer for a few hours starting now-jus so yiu know)

Ok but how is the hound? Is it still sick, or is it doing better?

Ya know, it would have taken you a LOT less time and effort to type out the contact info for your vet than to type this message AND the somewhat lengthy message you sent me. Just sayin'.....

And Herzo, I don't know who the OP was PMing when you looked, as I was PM'ed later. I just hope an observer hasn't fallen for this story. If you check the bottom of this board where it says how many people are currently on, you will see that a LOT of people read here that don't post or even register, and not all of them are internet savvy.

Yeah, but the entertainment value is wearing off, I'm pulling the plug. I can think of no legitimate reason why the OP would continue to post/send messages as to why they're having difficulty rather than simply sending the information that was requested five days ago, especially if they're "frantic". As far as I'm concerned it's either a hoax or a scam and "houndie" is a figment of the OP's imagination. Unless I receive concrete verifiable information I will not be responding further and I recommend that no one else does either.

Basset dependant the sarcasm wasn't needed when all you have here are the perfect people to help you at this time who simply need to know more. Most of these people work for Basset welfare and all own and love the breed your evasive stance is silly when they would and could help. All you need to do is state a vet that will perform any proceedures, let them check and boom your problems are over. It's that simple. Why make it complicated? I know too well what it's like to struggle with hands I live off morphine everyday to function and I'm not saying that your claims are false as I oo have good days and bad, all I'm saying is conserve your energy and just type whatbhas been asked no one here is looking to prove you wrong you get replies because everyone wants this to be genuine and for a happy outcome to follow. Come on, if this pp is really suffering love it enough to allow help to step in. If not then respect fellow board members enough to move on with the game. No one will peruse you pet, people just want what's best. And no one has sue less cash these days but some of it could be allocated for your furry buddy all you have to do is step up. Don't you owe him that? I wish you well and hope you do the right thing
