Good morning all, it's Bailey barking I hope every basset and human is having a good weekend! We got snow up in Maine yesterday, and I got to go play in it when mommy took me out!


Unfortunately Fred is under the weather and could not go out
So, as of today, it has been about a week since I had a sighting of mommy's superduper yummy new summer sneakers. It has been rough. l mean, i can smell them, but can't quite find where they are hiding. Well, today i wanted to go outside and play, but mommy says it is too icy and I could get hurt. Hmmph!!! What a total bummer! I was moping around the house when I went into the kitchen to lay down under the table and spotted these:

MOMMY'S YUMMY NEW NIKE SUMMER SNEAKS!!!!!!!!!! She must have known I was bummed out because I can't imagine why she would take those delicious sneakers out of hiding for any other reason!!!!!

Mommy said I could have a taste if I didn't go too nutso on them. Well, so far I have given them a good slurping and had afew bites into all that chewy squishy leather.



Mmmm...They are soooooo good!!! What do you think, should I eat them up some more, or should I pace myself???? Spring is a long time away, but if I eat these, then mommy will have to get more tasty footwear which means more snacks for me (oh and Fred) Help a doggy out!!!!!!

Ooh, Bailey, that snow sure does look cold, brrr! What a nice Mommy you have, bringing her sneakers out for you to have a little slurp on- she wouldn't have let you have a taste if she didn't intend for them to be yours, right?!

What's wrong with Fred??? We hope he is okay. Maybe he needs a new pair of shoes, too. You know what they say, "a pair of loafers a day keeps the vet-doctor away!"
