Basset Momma

This morning was one of my favorite sorts. We have to feed the dogs at 6:30am each day since our Sami has diabetes. I had a "late" morning at work- not needing to be there until 9. I love to crawl back in bed with my morning coffee- usually catch up on Facebook and maybe read for a bit while the hounds cuddle close. This morning I decided to try out my new Kindle as my husband was off and I could read without turning on a light. Suddenly the room broke out into a riot... Frodo howling to beat everything... the other dogs chiming in... my heart is pounding- did someone get into the house? I closed my Kindle to hop up and investigate and soon all was calm. I climbed back in bed to continue reading and Frodo goes crazy again! I finally figured it out. The Kindle gave off just enough light he could see himself in the dresser mirror! My husband and I died laughing. I started waving the Kindle around to really drive him crazy... payback was sweet! He's such a little goober

That is too funny... of course, you know Frodo will find a way to pay you back for messing with his head. You might want to download "The Pokey Little Puppy" (one of my favorites as a little kid) to your kindle and read it to him to negate any pay back!
