Default Um...

So I thought Tito had his testicles removed today...but it sure looks like they are there still I am think the vet may have tied his tubes but possibly he is just swollen? I live in Guatemala and I guess this may be how they do it here. What do you all think about this? HELP

Geez, it has been so long since I had Jake snipped so I don't remember what it looked like right after surgery. I do know that now, he has kinda a real small empty sack.

I defer the "good advice" on this subject to someone with more knowledge.

I hope Tito is feeling OK and heals nicely.

I mean the vet was talking about how big they were etc so I assume he removed them but it really does not look like it

Poor Tito!

I'm not sure but we're thinking about getting ours done soon so it'd be nice to know what to expect.

Shhhhhh.......don't tell Monty!

Tito had to have his done now...he is officially the only dog out of 3,000 living in my town fixed haha! We got some sad knews this week and found out we have to move that sped up the process because the house we are going to in a month has females that (of course) are not fixed. I will say one thing it is not what I expected to look like haha

Post-surgical swelling is normal, I've had some boys that looked better endowed right after the surgery than they did before. It will go away.

Poor Tito...I had Barney done 2 weeks ago and I thought the same thing...in fact mentioned it to a male friend of mine. Looked to me that the sack was still there but haven't noticed it lately....will look again when he wakes up

Ok another question for you all, the vet was pretty clear about keeping him inactive at least today and tomorrow but tito is jumping of the walls with energy, what did you guys do for this?

That is how Moses was after his surgery- the first afternoon he was a little out of it but by the next day he was a bundle of energy again. I just tried the best I could to keep him settled, but short of crating him there is only so much you can do. Good luck with Tito, I hope he heals quickly, sounds like he is!
