Default Mystery solved....

I decided to take Chloe to the vet today because I was thinking that maybe she had an infection or a problem with her anal gland. BINGO---her anal glands were very swollen and infected. This is the reason the Lab keeps trying to "hump" her.

So she is on antibiotics for 10 days and I need to bring her back next week to have it checked again. I am so glad I decided to bring her in. Poor little bugger....she didn't like that procedure at all and I can't say I blame her.

Hopefully when the infection is cleared up Bailey (Lab) will stop doing what he is doing cause Chloe is tired of that crap.

Right now she is curled up sound asleep.....Ahhhhh!!!!

Poor Baby! The treatment is such an indignity (but necessary) Hope you are feeling better and Bailey is behaving better.

Oh Miss Chloe - I sure do hope the antibiotics get rid of whatever it is that's making you feel sick - we worry about you when you're not feeling well.

That happened to my mom's lab twice... he's hated the vet ever since.

Chloe says "thanks" everyone for the well wishes. She goes back next week to have it checked again since the vet said it might need to be expressed again and she isn't looking forward to that (and neither am I).

Oh yeah.....he weighed her and she is 50 lbs of pure cuteness....It is so hard to believe she is that much because she doesn't look it. But she is healthy and active for a 9 month old pup!!!
