Unhappy Another one bites the dust to a hound

If you’re newer here or weren’t around at the time of my first posting about this – here is the story of the first one.

One night we were watching TV and hubby had some ice cream which I must say has always been a favorite of all our kids – so when he was done he asked if I wanted some – sure I say and set my laptop aside. And of course Lucy follows wherever the ice cream goes – so now she’s over by me with the sad eyes looking for a spoon or two. While she’s bouncing up and down trying to get my attention I’m wondering why is she so tall?

It wasn’t till after I go to put the ice cream away and go to pick up my laptop that I realize that she was so tall because she was bouncing up and down on it. Totally crashed everything. Next day I had a trip to Best Buy for yep, a new laptop!

So…

Last night – I had my laptop in bed with me when Mabel wanted to come up for her before crate visit – It’s still too early for her to go into her crate so at times I just let her sleep up with me before we do our nightly cuddle before she goes into the crate for the night. Anyway, Mabel has this way about her that she can go from sleep to 150 within a second – so here we are, all is quiet, nothing is stirring not even a mouse – then BOOM!!! She jumps up out of a sound sleep that might I add was snoring in – and attempts to not jump but fly off the bed – I had to move so fast in order to catch her in mid air that I didn’t have time to think to set my laptop aside – so my laptop went flying across the room. Yep – another one bites the dust. And hello Best Buy here I come again for another new laptop.

And how was your day?

Jen~

LOL aww...poor thing! Sounds like my household...thank goodness no smashings yet. *I* did that for them...was at a motel 6 on a drive to Eastern Oregon by myself...except for the two mutts. They were bouncing and anxious to have a pee, and i had just loaded the car up to leave in the morning..was like half asleep....and got so distracted with the dogs that once i loaded them up...and BACKED OVER my luggage...did i realize i'd just backed over my laptop, and drug it across the parking lot a few feet *lol*
I am actually typing on it right now...the screen is totaled, but i have it hooked up to a monitor sitting on a table, in front of my chair. I don't know how many times the dogs have then knocked over the monitor...INTO the chair, so no damage, but yeah...I also dropped my cell phone in an Australian toilet (yay vacation lol!) the week before, and then smashed it on the concrete when i got back home for jury duty!
Before that, like, a couple weeks before, my brand new car...had the transmission fail. I was in Winnimucca Nevada, and had to be towed two hours backwards on my trek, to Reno Nevada...where i got a rental car from the dealership, which also promptly had the alternator go out at my parents house. It was the next week after that when i smashed the laptop and phone *LOL*

OKay so i guess i'm trying to relate here.....lol!

Bowser only picks the most choice DVDs for his snacks. Ones that my mom has spent hours burning childhood movies on. lol
