Default sitter-uppers?

Hi there.
I was wondering how many sitter-uppers there are out there.
I vaugely remember a thread on this but maybe I dreamed it.
So lulu (atb) and austin (atb) never could sit up on their back legs with feet in the air. I'm just like them. The huminz put me in the sit up position and I just kinda crumble into a bassety pile on the floor. But Charlie Brown (stupid showoff) can get up in the position and kinda hold it as long as he's leaning against something (ie couch, wall etc). Gonna post a pic of it as soon as I can. So y'all get some pix of the sitter uppers.

My dear furriend Bob the DOg (AT was in the sitter uppers club. He was GOOD at it.

My last basset did it all the time. Gandy has done it once. He's just too energetic to sit still that long.

Try looking up basset hounds howling on you tube and play it realy lound for him that always works on abbey she walks around the house howling and looking for the other bassets. )
Abbey doesn't sit up either lol but she will sit on furniture on her but like a person every once in a while it kinda funny to waalk into the living room and see her sitting like that.

Winston is working on it. I have been trying to teach him, but you know Winston...he'll only do things when I DON'T ask. The other evening, he came to say hi and sat up, put his front paws on me, then sat on his back legs. He can't do it unsupported yet, but he's less freaked out by it. I so hope he masters it

Oh Charlie! how impressive and whatta straight back u has.

well, Estha, i'm with u... can't really do it. but then my person's not encouragin' me to. ya see, the wiener dog before me did it all the time and would sit up and beg at the table. he was irresistible and he got all this table food. my person also thinks that the better i m at being on 2 feet, the more i'm likely to countersurf one day...! (currently no countersurfing here)...

hehe. Beward the ninja. (i get to it by clicking the 'more' button on the smilies on the right. then it pops up and i click on it)

Nope, nothing here. Jumping is the extent of it but a jumping basset is fun to watch

Very impressive CB!!!
