Default Stormy Night

We have a pretty strong front of storms coming through tonight, Basset friends Why must the bad ones always come in the middle of the night?

Thanks goodness Moses does not give a toot about the weather- he is burrowed under the blankets and will snooze til morning. Do they make people-sized Thundershirts?!

Hiya Moses!

Well, we had horrible storms one night in S. California this past December. Horrible horrible windstorm. nobody knew in the middle of the night how bad it was-- everyone was just sleeping!

then when they woke up the next morning... they found out. 50% of the trees fell down in the city we grew up in and the power was out 6 days. very unusual. that almost never happens.

so yeah, these tricky storms happen in the middles of the nite. i have a Thundershirt like thing-- it's my green hoodie i wears to go to beds at nite. my person says i go snuggly and sleepy once she puts it on me. yeah, i thinks my person wears hoodies too... those might be peeple thundershirts?

@Wormie- oh goodness, that sounds scary. They have lots of storms in TN, especially in the spring, January is unseasonable though. . Maybe my Mama needs one of of those human Thundershirts!

@Esther- glad you and CB made it through the night ok, we saw Memphis was gonna be in the thick of things. Hope Charlie didn't get too worked up. Moses stays cool as a cucumber in storms, good thing we have a weather radio- he'd be useless!

Ah i'm weird then....i *love* to sleep during storms. I actually find it very comforting...maybe it's like, the thickness in the air from the rain, or...i dunno it just feels nice to me!
Although i have heard a few crazy horrible thunderclaps in my lifetime...those are very startling. Do love the sound of the rain though! Thank goodness Bowser and Daisy are oblivious *lol* They don't care about 4th of July either. I got so lucky! *brags*
