Default Acting weird tonight....

Chloe had a great day today....we went for walk in the snow which she loved. When we got home she went and took a nap on her pillow by the woodstove and stayed mellow. Then the weirdest thing happened, she sat in the living room and started shaking and looking towards the other room. She was acting like she was either cold or scared of something....strange. Then she kind of hid by the couch. So I patted her and let her know everything was ok but she still acted strange.

I decided to bring her to the bedroom and let her calm down and go to sleep on the bed and that is what she is doing now. Nobody is mean to her and it was just myself and my daughter home when she started it so I guess I was a little concerned. She doesn't seem like she is in any pain so that is good but I will keep an eye on her.

Does she freak out during thunderstorms? I wonder if she didn't hear the plow truck going by and it made her think it was a thunderstorm coming.

I don't know if this is helpful or not... but Abby tends to shiver after drinking water... could this be the case?

Maybe she sensed something supernatural.

She is sleeping peacefully right now (other than some very unpleasant smells from a little gas) so she must have been spooked by something. We haven't had any snowplows today so I guess I'll never know. Every now and then though I will get a little moan from her so she must be dreaming.

My family used to have a cat that was afraid of the ceiling fan, but only if you turned it off while he was in the room with it. He didn't notice it until it had been moving and then stopped. Another of their cats was afraid of my hip waders, but only if they were piled up in the corner.

Barney definitely hears things I do not. He will be on high alert and I cannot figure out what he hears sometimes.
