From the picture, sure your basset did! My name is Natalie, by the way. I am a mom of a 2-year old basset named Basti.

Welcome BassetBasti; you should start an introduction thread with pictures of Basti and other info.
Coffee, that's a great photo of Ollie. Callahan takes the same pose often! Coincidentally, today was Callahan's first time playing in snow off leash, ever. We have a two-acre fenced field near my house, and we got six inches of snow in 1 hour last evening. With the temps being around 13F when we went on our walk this morning, I needn't fear mud and slush that usually covers the field in the wet season. So Callahan took to the fresh field of powder and was in heaven as far as I could tell. Frolicking through the snow really wore him out quickly, which was fine with me. His slobber froze into an icicle mustache that I wish I had a chance to photograph before they melted.

Welcome Natalie and Basti... pictures are a REQUIREMENT, we love to oohh, aahh, and gush over our babies!
It sounds like Callahan had himself a great time. Where in Western NY are you? I lived in the Albany, Schenectady & Saratoga areas for quite some time. Jake and Abby are still waiting for their romp in the snow this season... it is pretty sparse in VA, but I love how the snow gets them so excited! |
