Default Love affair <3

Hey! Hector is truly, madly and very deeply in love with his bed and tbh I think he has been since day one. On an evening he takes himself off to bed and sometimes in the morning he returns to it after only rising for 10 mins. When he stayed with my friend for a couple of days, after going missing for 10 mins on an evening she found him lay on his bed looking up at her.

At first I though he was just a bit odd, but after talking to a couple of other basset owners on my area they said theirs did the same!

Does your furry boy or girlie do the same?

Bowser likes his bed...but he likes being where i am even better. Kitchen floor, bathroom door base, carpet...he just follows me. Even if he's been in a deep sleep in his bed, he'll flop himself up and come find me. lol

Daisy, on the other hand, our beagle, has a kennel upstairs and she will sometimes sneak up there to go get into it. She hates open beds, and has never slept with us, even though we'd offered a few times. She loves that kennel!
Bowser sleeps with me now *LOL*

Napoleon has an old love seat that we put in our garage that was converted into a spare room that he sleeps on. When he's outside he lays on our swing that we got, he's spent way more time on the swing then we ever have. Besides that he's usually on the couch in the house, or when he's at grandma and grandpa's either on their couch (beginning to see a pattern??) or on grandma's day bed so he can get his belly rubs.

He's on the swing! That's so cute. My parents have a swing, and Bowser wouldn't get on it with me. Too scary! That thing moves, mama!

Barney is usually right next to me wherever I am If I am on the couch I can guarantee I have at least three dogs jostling over who can sit the closest to me. He does however enjoy napping in my girl's kennel but that is in the family room so he is only 7 feet away. His bed is mine so he couldn't get up there without assistance.

My gang usually stays pretty close to me and follow me from room to room (unless I have that scary vacuum thingy). They even "learned" that if mom goes to the restroom she is a "captive audience" and has to rub ears! (note to self... shut the bathroom door ALL the way).

However, Mom's wiener dog, April, will trot off to the bedroom and get in her bed every night around 10 pm, no matter what is going on in the rest of the house! She also only gets up in the morning when Mom gets up, even if Dad is up before for an early tee time... Such creatures of habit!

Gwennie has a bed that has followed her throughout her different foster homes. She loves it! Its about the only thing that's been constant in her life. Its a little too small for her but she doesn't care. She'll curl up in it or let whatever doesn't fit hang out.

Abbey has a ottoman that used to be part of the basement big chair..free off cl so I brought it up and that is where she prefers to lounge with her brown fuzzy blanket has to be that blanket or she flips flops and huffs n puffs granpa was babysitty the hummin babies to day and said " that dog is silly. She snuck 3 pieces of texas toast off the table hid in the kids room to eat thn came and passed out on her bed" he also went on to say she was so relaxed she looked dead so he called her name 3 ttimes before she half opened her eyes and only thumped the end of her tail up and down. He said she really loves that bed. If I really loved her I would get her a down blanket...
