The vet is amazing! I watched the TV series where they followed the work he did and it was truly inspiring stuff. He neer gives up where there's hope. Totally recommend watching it if you get the chance.

I hope they manage to raise the money - such a cute puppy and such a shame.

Thanks for asking. He's still not putting full weight on it so we've been given more metacam, once that's finished it'll be reassessed. They are still all out for x-rays and drawing fluid from the knee to see if anything shows up but if it comes to that then I'm going to ask exactly what they think they are going to find and then think about going elsewhere. The vet we saw last was hoping that it would right itself whilst he's still on painkillers. Fingers and paws crossed!

How'd you get on at the specialist? I remembered you were paying him a visit this week.

It went well, it was just a check up, hector had couple of ops about 6 months ago, but he is all good now he now only has to go once every 6 months.

These things can go away I'm hoping this is one of those times for ya. And it is always a good idea to get a second opinion.

Cute little guy. If they don't get the money, could they possibly do a "dolly" kind of thing?

I saw something on Animal Planet where they made sort of a Dolly/wheel chair for some dogs (both front end and back end). My cousin's wiener dog is having back problems and can't use her back legs (hoping it is temp) where they are using a wheeled device for her to get around.

At a recent show I saw a booth that sold carts and they had a buckle-on prosthetic leg.
