I just posted in the adoption/rescue section but since this forum gets more traffic I hope the moderators don't mind if I post here as well. I saw a couple abandoning a Basset at an LA city shelter today and am hoping to get some help for the poor thing.

I cannot adopt or foster right now because we already have two cats and are still doing the apartment-living thing, traveling a lot, etc.

I thought maybe some of the folks here might have some Basset rescue connections in or around LA.
