Default Regrading Facial Hair

So when we got Kiara she had quite a pink lil nose and she had a spot right in the middle of her snout that didn't have but some fine peach fuzz on and I assumed it was because she was 7 weeks old and it had not came in yet. Now we are sitting at 11 months old and she still has nothing but light peachy white fuzz there in the middle strip of her snout. Its hard to see in the pictures of her but its best in the one with the hat on her that I uploaded a few days ago if you want to take a look. I am wondering is this normal for the breed or abnormal? She is a mixed breed dog so I sometimes wonder if something got crossed in the gene pool and the hair just decided not to grow there or something.

For further information on the other breed she is I do believe (have no proof) but I believe she is mixed with GSP (Pointer) or Springer Spaniel would have no way of knowing without a DNA test and were not doing that so its really anyone's best guess as to what the dad was.

Thanks in advance for any reply's!

not sure what you mean bu middle of the snout. starting from the base of the nose up there is often an area with little or no hair the size of this area is quite variable and common.

I had a blue beagle that had verey little hair on the ear flaps and almost althe way to the eyes on the top of the muzzle clearly alopecia which is though to be related to the blue dilution gene because the two conditions occur quite frequently together

Yes from the base of her nose upward straight in the middle its about 1 and a half of my fingers wide (half of an inch or so) there is just like peach fuzz and you can see lots of the skin so I didn't know if this was normal or not. Ive always wondered because most other dogs I see have hair on their nose

I believe that's fairly common. Copper has a bit of peach fuzz on his snout that lets his black and pink skin show through. Gwen's snout fur covers up her nose fully.

i've worried about it before too, so...don't feel alone, kiara's mom! Bowser's hair DID seem to grow to his nose, finally, from the bridge..but it's still thin. Just the way the noses are!

Love the pics!!!! Thanks Jaleely sometimes I wonder if I am just paranoid or if other people wonder the same things about their dogs as well. Sometimes when I talk to her during random housecleaning acts while she follows me around I will look at her and she has her head cocked to the side and is looking at me like she SO wants to say something that if she ever spoke I don't think I would be surprised. (Im sure I sound 100% nuts now LOL)
