The moral here is if you find a stray dog, don't assume no one's looking for it. A dog is not legally yours until you have made every effort to find the owner, including reporting the found dog to animal service, usually.

And microchip! Shelters will do it for cheap, like $20.

I love happy endings I cannot imagine how thrilled she is. I could not imagine if one of my babies went missing.

I bet they were happy! Lord abbey got out when we only had her a month I was walking nieghbor hood bawling turns out she was in the bed under blankets but hey all the same! Glad that babie made it home! Yay!

I remember when my last dog was taken by some teenagers and let loose on the road, I was beside myself with worry. I remember the absolute joy I felt when I discovered some good hearted person had found him and handed him into the shelter. I can only imagine how much stronger the feeling would be after months!

Nice to see a happy ending, he's such a good looking boy as well!
