Hello All,
My name is Alicia and I am new to the site and the world of Bassits. I have had mostly large dogs as a child (Shepherds, husky, etc) but never really knew too much about this breed...until now. I have done alot of research and spoke to a close friend who had a Basset for years and decided this would be a perfect addition to our family. Myself, husband and 3 kids live in Columbia, SC. We should be getting our new little girl this coming friday which I am soooo excited about to say the least. I must admit though I have been lurking on the board all day just reading posts and looking at some cute and beautiful pictures. I can't wait to share more with you all once we get our little one home and look forward to getting lots of advice which I'm desperately gonna need. Thank you and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!

Blondie, you are going to be completely taken over by your little girl.
This board is full of basset lovers and some really smart folk that know about behavior, etc. If you've been "lurking" your should be a bit familiar with some of the more unique and lovable basset traits. Check out all of the posts, you never know what gems of information you will find, even if the topic doesn't seem like it at first. Homework........ WE need a picture of your new baby girl....no one here can resist a puppy! |
