We are so excited! I hope he knows we will be at Grandma's...
We've been extra good this past week, I hope he doesn't look back to this summer though because I dug up Mom's brand new Honeysuckle Vine....3 times! Lucy says Santa has a long memory and that he will remember when I ripped up Mom's book and ate the back of a chair too! I think Santa won't remember, right? Wormie! Mom called, and we got to go to Macy's yesterday too! We went with our mini human friends when they went to write their letters too! I just wish I could get a glimpse of that list... Millie

Millie you ave been a very good girl this year....when compared to Henry bear! Remember he has eaten books, phones, socks, dug holes, stood on tables and peed on Santa and we still think he may visit with presents!!!

Santa forgives past basset transgressions simply because we are the cutest dogs in the entire world. I know - I was naughty as a baby last year and he still came to my house.
We are very excited for Santa Paws tonight. Momma made cookies for him (people cookies, not doggy) so I think that might help our case too. Merry Christmas Eve Day, Molly and Winston McFreckles

Oh Milllie it is Christmas Eve!!!! Santa is very old and I think he may well forget all the naughty things our hounds have done over the past year.... I'm pretty sure ALL of you will have something special under the tree!
I almost forgot....my Christmas Legend!!!! This is one that I truly believed when I was a little girl .... and I tried and tried but just didn't make it until midnight!!! ... according to legend... on the first Christmas, exactly at midnoight all the animals in the stable were given a voice to share what they had seen....and still to this day on Christmas Even exactly at midnight all the animals speak... so tonight my friends listen closely for your furballs to speak .. I will once again try! This legend must be true because there is another.... The Native People of North Americal tell of deer who kneel on Christmas Eve looking to the sky for the Great Spirit! To ALL my Basset Friends and ALL their humins... Merry Christmas and safe travels...may your hounds speak tonight! Sandy and Paisley |

Wonderful legends....I will be sure to listen...have always thought that animals have a special gift in the world of nature that we don't. Merry Christmas to all.

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi guys, who is this person you call Santa paws?? We heard Buddy and Rufie talking about him last night! This is our first Christmas in a home. There are lots of strange things going on, these coloured boxes have gone under the tree, mom really cleaned house yesterday and now she's in the kitchen cooking up a storm. This is all so fun and new to us. Eclair said she came to the house and remebers the tree, but they took it down the following day! We have been out side playing chase for ages and are both real tired already, mom jsut took nap pictures!! Merry Christmas guys, I'm going to find santa paws!! |

You are gonna LOOOOOVE Santa Paws. He came to my house last year (I was a baby and Winston wasn't even born yet). He comes to all our houses after we sleep tonight and leaves presents. Last year, I got cookies and toys. He says he'll only come to your house if you are good, but I think he even comes to the houses of naughty puppies.

Merry Christmas to you and Maddie, Maezie. You'll have better luck with a tree next year. You're just teeny curious babies right now. It would be unheard of for you NOT to be in the tree.
As far as Santa being scary, that blow up thing just looks like Santa, but the real Santa is very nice (not like that one at Petsmart last weekend).
