Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum and wanted to try to ask you all if you can confirm that my dog, Daisy, is part Basset! I really am not 100% but she seems like she'd be a basset from how she acts.
She howls like a Basset, and she has big ears compared to her face (they like to stand up when she leans her head back)! Her front legs are also a little shorter than her back legs. She also likes to dig. I am guessing her other breed is Australian Shepherd since she is an ankle biter and loves to chase her brother, Chuppy! She weighs 47 lbs as well. here are some photos of her: ![]() ![]() estimate her size: ![]() and her eyes are this color

She doesn't look 100% basset to me, but maybe part? Doesn't matter...she's gorgeous!

Some basset maybe...some beagle maybe...who knows, but your two dogs are some of the happiest looking dogs I've seen in a long time. What wonderful pictures!

She's a cutie what ever she is!!! I see Basset and golden retriever! She sits like a basset! My sister in law had a DNA test done on her mix-what we thought to be a rotwieller aussie mix showed to be an aussie cocker mix!

that would be more my thought I do not see the dwarfism that is ussually associated with basset but perhaps the limp size is heavy in person than they apear in the photo most basset mixes are obvious dwarf which I just don't see in the photos presented. |
