Well, here she is - our newest family member. And we ADORE her! She's such a love. She's still adjusting to being here, but she's doing really well. She loves belly rubs and her dog bed and blankie. Her tail wags whenever her littlest human (our 5 month old) is close by. Our 4 year old keeps saying "We have to protect Mae and take care of her."
She had a few accidents in the house, but her last few potty trips have been outside! She loves to lay her head on our lap.My favorite things since she's been here: Watching her do a basset shakedown. That skin just flies around when she shakes her body - it's pretty darn funny! When she got up off of her dog bed and the blankie I had covered her with stayed on her bottom half while she walked around! Watching hubby turn into a pile of complete mush. ![]() Anyways, I ran to Target to get a few things and somehow a sweater for MaeMae found its way into my basket. Here's a pic!

Welcome MaeMae. She's beautiful, with her look of "Where am I and why are you draping your laundry on me?"
Congratulations and all the best with the readjusting on everyone's part. What an exciting time! Is there a back story to her in another thread, about her history and adoption, etc.?
