Default Scary vacuum cleaner

Lollypop is pretty scared of the vacuum and will always seek out her crate when it's running. Any other hounds afraid of this fearsome device?

My bassets are not afraid of it, just move out the way. My Cocker Spaniel on the other hand thinks he must protect mommy from it at all costs and barks and attacks it! Silly boy!!

Boomer hates the vacuum and barks at it from around the corner of the kitchen.

Henry goes outside and bays through the door at it. It is not half as scary as the ironing board though...maybe i should iron more to desensitise him...but then again maybe not!

I really don't think Barney has the sense to be afraid of anything....with the vacuum cleaner, he will lay right in front of it, daring me to run him over. When I back up and go in a different direction, he repeats the process. I don't think he's stupid, I really don't....but it seems that he lacks some basic survival instincts.

No carpets here so no vacuum, but Mouse used to attack the vacuum hose, and a couple of the youngsters will chase the shop vac hose. OTOH, I used to use the shop vac to vacuum Ginger and Rainbow - I have a picture somewhere of Rainbow being vacuumed. Ginger's sister Lucy was afraid of vacuums.

Benson will bark and chase the vacuum, carpet cleaner, mop and broom. He wags his tail throughout, so I am guessing he thinks its a game. He had the dustpan his mouth the other day, but didn't look like cleaning was on his mind.
