Every once in a while Chloe yelps when you touch her side. Not sure if it's always the same side cause it's only happened a few times. Last night Brad went to pick her up to bring her in from the garage and she let out a loud yelp. He said he thought he may have pinched her but when I reach down to pet her on the same side she yelped at the slightest touch, but only once. I ran my fingers all over her side and even put a tiny bit of pressure on her ribs thinking maybe she had a fracture but nothing. No yelping, no crying, nothing. Has anyone ever had this happen? Brad thinks we just startled her everytime because it's just when we first touch her, but being the paranoid mommy that I am I'm worried there's something wrong.

Also basset are not above being melodramatic and scaming/schemeing. For about a mount toughy would yelp when you touched is right hip but he walk ok no limp running He is on my bed lying on his side and not thinking i rum my hand down him and he yelps when I get to the hip. For which I opolligized to him thinkabout something did not seem right it took be a few minute to figure it out toughy was lying on his right side so his left side was up Ithoughced his left hip. I gave him the gig is up look and he never tried to pull that stunt again but he kept it up for at least a month b efore we/I caught on. |
