Default i swear they're trying to bankrupt me

I think they know that I just cleared some room on my credit card. First Gabby had a growth on her ear that got rather large and started bleeding, so it had to be removed along with a similar one on her chin. Then one of her sebacious cysts suddenly grew and ruptured, so it had to be removed too. Then one of Melody's cysts started to grow too, so to avoid a similar rupture she went in today to have the cysts removed, and she was spayed and had her teeth cleaned at the same time. In the meantime, a growth we found in Gabby's mouth during her first surgery has grown rapidly and needs to be removed, but because of the type and location my vet is recommending I take her to a different hospital so she can have laser surgery. $$$$$$$$$$$ if you add in having to spend $800 to have my van's headlights fixed, I'll have spent about $4000 in the past 6 weeks [ /vent]

Also not counting the stud fee I paid before all this started. Thank goodness I don't have to bring Leila in for her prenatal x-rays until mid January.

Isn't that always the way it goes? Well, at least you are able to give them the care they need. At least that's how I make myself feel better when it happens to me.

Wishing you better luck.

I feel for you. 7,000.00 between 2 TPLO surgeries and 2000.00 on skin allergies and that was for only 1 of my bassets WALTER. But when I look at that face I know why i did it. Take my kids and my hubbs but never my Walter and Fred.

it was about $5,000 in six weeks between the time lulu was diagnosed in december and the time she and Austin had both passed away in January.

Would do it again.

I spent several thousand on Molly since Memorial Day. Between diagnosing her Addison's and then treating it, it was a couple grand. Now it's a matter of regulating it and the meds she needs are $$$. And my vet wonders why I turned to an online pharmacy. I need to save money where I can, as this is going to be pricey for the rest of her life.

BTW, I won the pharmacy battle and the Percorten is coming from Dr. Foster and Smith via FedEx today. Score!
