Default Sirius Training Videos?

Has anyone ever watched these? There's one out that's geared for adult dogs. I was considering getting his book which has all of this in it, but I thought the video could be nice because I could see it and I could hopefully get hubby to watch it. It's a bit expensive for a DVD, but it's obviously cheaper than an obedience class (and I haven't found one in our area that doesn't use compulsion type methods). Anyways, anyone have any experience with these and know whether or not they're done well, informative, insightful, all that stuff? Do you think the adult one would be a good fit for someone taking in a rescue dog?

I've also read a few things. I'm going to reread "Love Has No Age Limit" before bringing our rescue home.

what is the area. keep in mind as well compulsion training does have a proven track record of working. The question is what you are comfortable with and not but I think it is a misnomer to thing there is such a thing as a trainer that uses exclusively postive reinforcement as a training methodology.

I'm not willing to alpha roll, use a pinch collar, choke chain, or grab my dog by the scruff of his/her neck - all things that are used in the classes I've come across in this area. I might be able to find something more positive an hour away.

While I've read several books that will give me a great start, I like the idea of a video because it gives me a visual and it's something that I can show hubby so that we can be on the same page.

Agreed! Honestly, a good overview of positive training and/or clicker training (I like clicker training). Honestly I can learn most of what I need from kikopup on youtube, but I'm looking for something for hubby and I as he won't sit and watch a bunch of youtube videos with me, but I'm sure I could get him to watch one DVD so that we're kind of on the same page with training!

I did find a DVD by Nicole Wilde that looks promising. So we may try that one.
