Default Barking the dog

Chloe doesn't really know how to play with people so everyday we bark the dog. We all howl and bark and try to copy each other. It's her favorite time of day and she gets really anxious if we don't do it. I'm just wondering if anybody else has any wierd rituals like this?

Toughy when he was alive would come up for back scrunches. afte dinner you would have to hang your hand down from the recliner and scratch he would move himself along from head to butt and that would be the extent of his snuggling for the day but if anything intrupted it you would have to start all over from the beginning.

that reminds me we call daddy's morning coffee belly rubbing juice. Chloe rolls over in the middle of the floor and inchworms her way over to him to get her morning belly rubs when she sees his coffee cup. If he rubs her belly before he gets coffee it doesn't count

We have what I call "The Tunnel of Love/Tunnel of Terror". I sit in my chair with my legs on the ottoman. Lightning squeezes between the ottoman and the chair, and I reach down and scritch him. He slowly moves through the tunnel, which allows him to regulate where he gets the most scritches. Then he goes out of the tunnel, around the tunnel, and back through again. Repeatedly. He never just turns around and goes through the other way. The tunnel of terror is when the cat gets on the ottoman while Lightning is going through it. He swats at Lightning, especially at his tail. He doesn't use his claws, so no real harm done. But it is hysterical to watch. The tunnel of love/tunnel of terror is Lightning's absolute favorite thing in the world, other than food.

P.S. You must video tape Bark the Dog sometime and post on here.

Yes, Chloesangel, would really love to see that. My Barney has a strange addiction. Every night, he wakes up 3 times, walks over me, and touches his nose to the touchtone light by the bed. He brings it up to the brightest light and then gets off the bed, where he'll meander around the house, and then come back to bed. The first couple of times, I flew out of bed but am used to it by now.

Every night Maggie barks, Daisy howls, and Yogi just sits there with his head cocked to the side until I take them for their car ride. It doesn't matter if they had one earlier in the day.

On every Friday or last workday before vacation, holiday etc, we do a dance! I get home, take them out for potty, then stand in the kitchen singing and dancing-they all get so wild and excited barking, dancing and jumping up spinning! Its very cute, hubby thinks I'm nuts!
