Just wanted to say HELLO to everyone and say nice looking at all your pictures I love how many variations of the Basset are shown here and I can tell that you all love your furry baby as much as I love mine! Hope to get to know some of you here and get good advice when needed. My Kiara is 10 months old and she is the first dog I have ever had of my own so I don't know all the ropes to bringing her up "right" and may have a ? from time to time

Welcome to you both. I too have an almost 10 month old. He's a handful, but very sweet and lovable. How is your pup at this age?

Hi Kiara and Mommy....Welcome. My Barney is 9 months now...full of p--- and vinegar, but such a good age. You've come to the right place for answers..these people are extremely good and seem to have the answers for just about anything. Ask away and post your pictures.

Michelle at this age Kiara is just such a loveable goofball. She is getting out of a lot of the "puppy" things that got her into so much trouble in the beginning. She is starting to mellow out but she sure does have a long ways to go. She is so loveable. I have NEVER in my life met a dog that is more loving and attached to its owners than I have this dog. Her favorite thing to do is chase the cat around and around the house...they have fun, nothing mean about what they do at all. She makes me smile and laugh every day and each day when I come thru the door from work she is always the most excited to see me out of the whole family. She is a family dog for everyone but truthfully she is my dog she is more bonded to me than anyone else in the house and while she loves everyone she seems to be like glue to me once I am home for the night and on my days off she is like a shadow
