Dia de Gracias/changing colors

Hey Guys!

Mom said we haven´t said much lately, so I am writing to check in! Mom and I had a fun thanksgiving, well I had fun eating pieces of turkey moms family dropped on the floor mom seemed stressed cuz her and her friends cooked a big meal for 21 guatemalans!! I thought it smelled and tasted so yummmmyyy. I put on a photo of mom and I with my grandmom and aunt, mom put on funny clothes that day so I decided to bark at her, clearly she didnt know how hard it would be to play with me in that skirt thing...anyways mom keeps asking me if it is normal for my pelo to be changing colors I am four and a half months old!

I haven't a clue what a "pelo" is though lol, so I am no help with your question.

Both mine started with a lot of black fur and are gradually turning more brown. Winston started very soon after he came home at 2 months. He lost his brown eyebrows as his whole head has been turning brown. His solid black back is starting to get brown hairs. Molly had a good deal of black on her back and it's becoming more and more brown as well. She's almost a year and a half and she's still changing.

So yes, it's normal

Hi Tito,

So glad you are growing and healthy, and esp because of the puppy health scare ya first had. You are still very adorable! great picture, and yeah, i's been changin' colors ever since i was born. Mostly from black to brown.

Ok that is what is happening with Tito he is getting a lot of brown hairs where there only was black before, I cant believe he is twenty three pounds now, he is growing so fast (he was six pounds when sick). He will be getting a new brother soon in the form of a kitten because he wont chase the mice in my house (one was just on my bed and he had no clue), so it will be interesting to see how that goes!

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed at first when he started changing colors, as I liked all the black he had. Then I realized it didn't matter, he is my baby boy no matter what color he is.

At first, Boomah, my person wanted a lemon/white. or a red/white. so she wuz a little disappointed bout the black on me. but then she gots used to it and now misses the black, like ur Ma! well, actually the black feels like super soft puppy fir, very silky. she definitely thinks the blonde/brown stripe down my back is odd.

Bowser is totally turning brown. First his back end fur got CURLY, now the white triangle is just turning into a dot...and his back legs, and back stripe are turning brown! I REALLY miss his nose though...you can see in the gallery he used to have pink on both nostrils...now it's ALL Black!
