Default Black Friday in Canada

HI : HEY I guess Black Friday has arrived in Canada.... it has been creeping across the border for just the past year or two but just wanted to thank you guys --- Pre-Christmas Sales!!!! We certainly are not used to this in my part of the world being 4 hours from the closest border -- the only big sales we are used to are the Boxing Day sales after Christmas. A funny thing though -- there is a huge Canadian Drug Store chain up here that well sells drugs and some packaged food well today they are selling Electronics -- computers, WIIs, Xboxes ect -- for today only?? Whats up with that. I have to go out to Petsmart later today and am wondering if they are going to be selling drugs and people today!!!!By the way I picked up a notebook for my daughter today but went to the Electronics store and it was a good price!

If I lived near a mall, I'm afraid I'd be doing one of the sit-ins in protest. It's way, way out of control....lady pepper-sprayed some people....evidently they wanted the same merchandise she did.....give your pup an extra hug...they're more civilized than most humans.

Wormie tell me more about your jacket. I think you & I are about the same size. Does it cover your rumpus & keep your belly clean?

Hiya Ms. Peanut Butter-- i have a coupla different things, like sweatshirts & sweaters. the jacket today is a boy black & gray "motorcycle" hoodie jacket... the fabric is very washable & wipeable. generally speaking, tho, none of them cover my rumpus, but they do seem to keep my belly clean. and i can pee without hitting them! that's important, too.

this jacket is an XXL. i find i have to try everything on, tho. the things i have range from M-XXL. totally depends.

later this week, i'll try to take some pics to show ya. ya lookin' for somethin' in particular?

My momma had to work Black Friday. She was so tired when she came home last night, and had supper and went to bed and gets up this morning to go back to work.

Oh Boomer I hope the Black Friday shoppers were nice to yer Momma --- lots of times shoppers take their frustrations out on the poor innocent cashier since she is the last in line of fire at a store. I vote for a be nice to your cashier movement!!!! Hope she gets a day off soon to rest her tired feet and fingers!
Ya Wworrmie we got her a tiny computah -- she uses one for school for teaching so this way she won't have to lug her big one home from school and keep her personal stuff personal and school stuff school stuff.... her last personal one died from being lugged around too much.
Can't wait to see yer new jacket. Sounds pretty fashionable. I got a new winter one last spring -- just a red quilted parka, not too fashionable but at least it fits and is warm. Ya I know what ya mean about having all sizes do the buyers at PetsMart not realize we have big chests!!!! Order some basset jackets! Hey my ears get cold does anyone wear a snood out in the winter?? Mom says she is gonna try to make me one out of an old sweater.

Melikes the "Be Nice to your Cashier Movement!" yeah we oughtta start that since we're starting movements & all. Boomah, hope ya help your person sleeps and gets lots rest when she gets home. it's such a big retail week, she will be tired.

i agree bout the big chests-- boys r different from girlz, but yeah, i has a hard time fitting stuff too. in fact, i outgrew my jacket from last year 'cuz the velcro wouldn't velcro up anymore around my chest. that's why i needed a new one. me hasn't worn a snood yet, but i bets ya would look purty nice in one.

We had a petsmart trip this evening and purchased Henry a lovely new jumper. I sleep with the house really cold and Hen doesnt mind that but in a morning if its damp out when he goes for his morning constitutional, when he comes home he finds it hard to warm up! The other morning he was shivering so hard i couldnt go back to sleep until we covered him in a fur blanket so today we found the Martha Stewart selection [ok so i have no idea who she is but she makes great basset toys - the infamous bear- and the new coat] It is green, fleece inside and padded outside. Has the wraping straps under the tummy and across the chest providing a perfect fit! It fits to about an inch above his tail he is 24 inches from the shoulder to the base of his tail. I will get pictures but heartily recommend it if anyone needs something long enough and wide enough! It could certainly fit a basset broader than Hen too!
