What are some of the best names out there for a male Basset?

Going through the naming process. Saw "Bilbo Baggins" somewhere, which I liked

I suspect this board has seen /heard some really great ones...!

We have had to name a few...Beefa [ B fa Basset lol] Humphrey, Horatio, Sampson [of course there was a delilha] a friend had twix which always made me chuckle however they all answer to buggaluggs for some reason!Our next will be called optimus according to my husband, strictly for their ability to transform to little devils lol

Do you have any more info that could help narrow down the names we suggest? there's so many out there.

like... unusual, unique names? or person name? or some sort of theme? American? British? French? haha... food?
Bilbo.... is that like Lord of the Rings? someone here is named Gandalf. and i met a Frodo & Arwen, who were Welsh Corgis before.

i can come up with more ideas if ya narrow down the field for me.

Well, he's only called Gandalf when he's in trouble. The rest of the time he's Gandy.

Sometimes I think it would be easier to just name them NO. That's what they hear most of the time.
